Mrs. Laide Osijo, ACII, FCIB, FIIN, LLB, BL, MBA. a graduate of Insurance at Ahmadu Bello University Zaria. Apart from obtaining a Law degree and a Masters in Business Administration at the University of Lagos, She is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of London, a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria and the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB). She is the first Female and Past President of the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB). She is also a member of the Nigeria Bar Association.
She began her insurance career with Marine & General Insurance Company Lagos, and also worked in various capacities in the Insurance Industry. Amongst these are Great Nigeria Insurance Company and Nigerian Reinsurance Corporation, wherein she trained at various times in Insurance, Reinsurance & Insurance Broking. Whilst still working with Nigerian Reinsurance Corporation, she was trained abroad at the Munich Reinsurance Company Germany, the Cologne Reinsurance Company, both in Germany and also at Steward Wrightson Insurance Brokers London. She has attended various courses in oil & gas both home and abroad.
Mrs. ’LaideOsijo has spent over four decades in the Insurance Industry as a Broker, Reinsurer and Underwriter.
